Account & Data Deletion

Request deletion of your account and data
Use this form to ask us to delete your Plausor account and the personal data attached to it. You do not need to be signed in. If you are signed in, you can also request deletion from Account › Delete my account in the app or on the website.
We email a confirmation link to the address above; the request only becomes active when you open it. We reply to every submission the same way whether or not an account exists, so this form cannot be used to find out who has a Plausor account. Questions: privacy@plausor.com.
This page explains how to ask Plausor, operated by Crowd Pass, LLC, to delete your account and the personal data attached to it — and exactly what is deleted, what we have to keep, and for how long. It applies to the Plausor website and the Plausor mobile apps.
How to request deletion
- On this page: use the request form above. You do not need to be signed in.
- In the mobile app: open Account, then Delete my account.
- On the website: open Account, then Delete my account.
- By email: write to privacy@plausor.com from the address on your account with the subject "Data Deletion Request".
We have to know the request really comes from you, because deletion cannot be undone. A request submitted from the public form is confirmed by a one-time link emailed to the address on the account; the link expires after 24 hours and nothing is deleted until it is opened. A request made while signed in to the app or the website is already proof of identity, so it starts immediately — and we email you a cancellation link in case it was not you.
What happens next
- Confirmation: you receive an email as soon as the request is recorded.
- Cancellation window: once verified, you have 7 days to cancel using the link in that email, or from your account settings.
- Deletion: after the cancellation window your account and personal data are erased automatically. In all cases we complete verified requests within 30 days.
- Accounts with organizer, artist or staff access are reviewed by a person first, because those accounts own events, venues and payouts that other people depend on. We will contact you if anything has to be transferred before the account can be erased. These requests are still completed within 30 days.
- Confirmation of deletion: we email you when the erasure is done.
What we delete
When a request is carried out we permanently remove the following, so that nothing remaining in our systems identifies you:
- Your profile: name, email address and phone number
- Your login credentials, and any Google or Apple sign-in link
- All active sessions, offline access tokens and sign-in links, on every device
- Push notification tokens and device identifiers
- Notification settings, SMS preferences and SMS consent records
- The link between your account and our payment processor's customer record
- Saved preferences, recommendations, browsing and purchase behaviour data
- Waitlist entries, upgrade standby entries, saved carts and follows
- Reviews, ratings and votes you posted
- Identity verification records
- Streaming library, playlists and listening history
- Marketing and campaign recipient records
What we keep, and for how long
Some records cannot be deleted on request because the law requires us to keep them, or because they belong to an event organizer's own records of a completed sale. These are kept in anonymized form — your name, email and phone number are removed from your account, so what remains does not identify you:
- Ticket, order, refund and payout records — 7 years. Required for tax, accounting and financial-audit obligations, and to settle disputes and chargebacks.
- Sales tax records — 7 years. Tax is calculated and filed per transaction and cannot be withdrawn from a filed return.
- Ticket validation and door-scan records — until the event has taken place, then retained inside the financial record above so an organizer can reconcile attendance.
- Fraud, abuse and security logs — up to 24 months, with the link to your account removed. Kept to protect other users from ticket fraud and scalping.
- Your deletion request itself — up to 24 months. The request record (email address, timestamps and outcome) is our proof that the request was made, verified and honoured. It is kept for no other purpose.
- Encrypted backups — up to 90 days. Data can persist in backups until they age out of the normal rotation, after which it is gone. Backups are not used to restore deleted accounts.
- Aggregated and anonymized statistics — indefinitely. These cannot be traced back to you.
Payment processor data
Card details are never stored by Plausor — they are held by our payment processor, Stripe. When your account is deleted we remove the link between your account and Stripe's customer record. Stripe keeps its own transaction records under its legal obligations as a regulated payment provider; see Stripe's privacy policy for their retention periods.
What deletion means for you
- Your account is closed permanently and cannot be restored.
- You lose access to any tickets in your wallet, including tickets for events that have not happened yet. Transfer or use them before requesting deletion.
- Any active resale listings and pending transfers are withdrawn.
- Outstanding payouts are processed before the account is closed.
- You are removed from organizer contact lists and all marketing communications.
- Signing up again later creates a brand-new account with no history.
Children's data
Plausor is not directed at children under 13. If you believe we hold personal information about a child under 13, contact privacy@plausor.com and we will delete it promptly.
